The new trend in smartphones that are going to be launched in 2019 is the transition from 4G or LTE to 5G. It is true that 2018 has offered us the most advanced technology in smartphones but it doesn’t end there. At this point, it’s hard to believe that technology will reach its limit. It’s never going to stop evolving and innovators are going to keep discovering new enhancements in all fields of modern technology.

Some of the biggest smartphone developers already confirmed their introduction of 5G-ready handsets. The next-gen smartphone technology will extremely alter mobile standards.

This brand is along the ride in enhancing to 5G-ready handsets. Oppo did not release a specific model, but in line with this year’s release of the Oppo R15, the probable release date of their 5G smartphone would be between March and April.

Honor

The president of Honor confirmed it himself that the company will be launching a 5G smartphone. They even announced that they will be the first to market a 5G-ready handset in 2019.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

In 2019 they will launch the first 5G-ready. It will be one of the most affordable smartphones in the market this coming year.
